The route
From the Sneekermeer you sail via Langweer and the Tjeukemeer to Lemmer. Then you sail via Sloten and Woudsend across the Heegermeer and the Fluessen to Stavoren. You return to Sneek via Heeg.
Cruising times: 3 to 4 hours a day.
Mooring places: Sneek, Langweer, Lemmer, Sloten, Stavoren
Please note: On the Frisian lakes the water can get quite choppy in strong winds. Check the weather before you set off.
