The owner welcomes you in person on board. Here's how the handover works, and what we expect when you return the boat.
What time can I come on board?
Most owners welcome guests from 3 pm. The exact times are on the boat page and in your confirmation.
How do the welcome and handover work?
The owner meets you at the mooring, takes you around the boat, explains the controls and will even sail along for a short stretch if you'd like. Allow between 45 minutes and an hour for this.
Do I need to return the boat clean?
The boat must be returned broom-clean. That means the washing-up is done, the bin is empty and, where applicable, the waste water tank has been emptied. You also need to refuel the boat; the owner will explain at check-in where you can do this. Please report any damage when you return, and preferably sooner, so that the owner or manager can deal with everything properly before the next guests arrive.
