About boats without a boating licence
For boats up to 15 metres that don't go faster than 20 km/h, you don't need a boating licence in the Netherlands. Most of our fleet falls into this category: step aboard, listen to the owner's explanation and set off.
Want more peace of mind? Many owners will sail with you for the first stretch, and on most boats you can add boating instruction to your booking.
