Susan

Susan is a well-maintained Cascaruda 1050, measuring 10.50 metres, with a separate sleeping cabin in the aft cockpit. She sleeps four: aft a cabin with a double bed, forward an open bed for two. That makes her a great fit for two couples, or a family looking to explore Friesland together.

On board you'll find a complete kitchen with an oven, a fridge with freezer compartment, a Nespresso machine, and a full set of tableware. Steering is possible both from inside and from the upper deck, so you can cruise comfortably in any weather. The bow thruster can be operated from both helm positions, making mooring a lot easier.

In August 2026, Susan received a new engine. Thanks to the solar panels, you can also comfortably spend the night at a Marrekrite spot or out in nature, without relying on shore power.

On the aft deck you can sit outside while cruising quietly through Friesland or while moored. Susan is based in Sloten, a great starting point for the Frisian lakes or for part of the Eleven Cities Route.

You don't need a boating licence for Susan. She cruises at 10 to 12 kilometres per hour and is shorter than 15 metres. A short briefing before departure is all you need to set off with confidence.

Bed linen and towels are provided as standard and included in the rental price, so you only need to bring your own belongings. Your dog is welcome too.
